Awareness is ninety percent of the solution
In golf you have plenty of time to reflect on your previous performance to plan your next shot. But leading
people or an organization is more like polo. The little white ball doesn't wait for you. It's always in motion.
You stand no longer on firm ground as in golf. You carry a mallet and ride a galloping horse. Your
teammates are also mounted on horses while opponents surround you trying to steal the ball.
But you and your teammates keep an eye on the goal, not on the mechanics of hitting while the boundaries of the playing field keep constantly changing.
Joy in the game is crucial yet the same three critical elements remain constant. Your game depends on the quality of Awareness, the quality of Contact and quality of Energy.
